You’ve gotta wonder sometimes.. how these slim and tall women stay slim. .and i’m not even talking about models.. or young girls. I have a mother in my daughter’s school.. and she looks awesome.. !! tall, slim and slender.. and very well presented.. if i may say so. I think i better start using some weight loss pills to try and look half decent eh. Can anyone tell me.. how these women stay so slim. .and looking so well. Not the aneroxic type of slim.. but good kinda slim… if you know what i mean.
I was told that a spa vacation was what I should be looking for when I go to Japan for a holiday and I’m kinda looking forward to it.. but not really looking forward to the driving up some mountain to the spa. Knowing Japan.. and it being over populated.. i wonder if the spa hotel is going to be overly-crowded too. But anyhow. .i was told to buy some travel insurance and I have to quickly look into it.. for the vacation is drawing near.
The local shoppers drug mart is having this exclusively in Canada.. and at $49 a bottle. I think i am attracted to it all because of the cute bottles.. so i’ll be sure to go at least see it and smell the scent before deciding weather to buy it or not. The babysitter would sure be amused with the doll-like bottle.
She is called G, and she comes with a fresh coconut, jasmine and cotton woods. Quite cute eh.
This figurine i love best.. i think i kinda identify with this figurine. She is called Love and it is said that she is a sweet, caring and free – spirited. Hehehe!! that’s funny.. !! i liked this figurine even before i read what Love represented. And her scent is of a floral bouquet with pink pomelo, rose and creamy vanilla orchid.
Lil’ Angel sure doesn’t look like an angel to me eh… hahah!! For the caring and compassionate like lil’ angel and sporty as well. And she smells like a citrus floral, a twinge of pineapple, candied violet and lollipop.
Now she certainly looks like a tough cookie..! and she is called Music. I would love to be like music .. and always looking to make someone laugh. She smells fruity and floral.
Teenagers would love Baby.. since Baby is supposed to have the boys in her palm. You want to smell flowery and powdery kind too.. like a baby..!! like its name..! oh.. so well named too. With white rose , orange flower.. and white musk.. i may buy this too.
I used to go to a salon one at Starrs Road and I really liked it alot. Unfortunately, they are always busy.. and closed early too. What i liked best about the salon has gotta be my hair stylist .. who talks just about everything and very informative From current event to cornbread dressing , we could yak like long lost friends. But ever since she quit, she had been working from her home.. and charging us a lot cheaper than the salon. As such, i am sure like any unsloppy wife, i get to see my hairdresser a lot more.. and paying less. So which one would you choose right..?? to go to your hairdresser’s home.. or the salon..??
The trendy woman or rather the unsloppy wives not only takes care of themselves.. but they also have one of the latest gadget. One do not need to get the latest or the newest.. but if you look and wait long enough.. you get the before model which is still very stylish for a lot less price. Unlocked cell phones are such an “in” thing these days.. just because you can use other providers and use it in any country you are on vacation. And the unsloppy wives definitely know all about the latest in cell phones.
Outrageous hair..??!!??? Nah..!! if i were her age.. once again.. i would be as outrageous too.. ! afterall, you only lived once eh..!! I admire .. her willingness to try everything once.. and get it outta her system. If my daughter grow up and become a teen.. i wouldn’t stop her either.. just no tattoos please.
As for woman my age.. oh please..!! don’t ever do that..!! As much as i love to be trendy.. you and i know that this will not be fitting for a 43 yrs old..hhaha!!! but looking at Katelynn.. i know that i’ll be seeing something like that on my teen in the future.. because only at 4.5 .. she already put on Kate’s make up for her.. for makeover.

I used to go for facials every 3 weeks religiously.. when i was working in Asia. Well.. i was working and doing and the job paid kinda well.. and i had to do alot of cocktails.. and entertaining the clients.. plus i also need to fly around quite abit. Hence, a traveling blog… but that’s for another day .. and another story.
When i first arrived in Canada.. i too go for facials on a regular basis… but since i’m owner by association .. and technically didn’t have to work.. so didn’t really need to spend like $80 a facial.. i didn’t go as often. But of course, i would still go, just because.
After having my daughter, i find it hard to go anywhere .. and stopped going for facials because they are alot different from the ones I was used to back home. I still do my cleansing.. and toning.. and moisturizer.. and i don’t really find that my skin looked any worst.. although a wee bit dry but that’s to be expected right..?
Anyhow, the aesthetician that i used to go to, now has her own shop. She was a pretty nice girl and all, but a look at her price tag for a facial would cost me $75 + tax + tips ( they believe in tips here) .. for a 60 mins facial ( that i don’t think really deep cleanse my face) .. i feel the pinch..! won’t you..?? and plus i do good with my home facials.. for less. So was it just a trend that everyone go for facials or does it really make us look alot more beautiful..? making the skin feel refreshed..?? Like i said.. the facial i’ve experienced here compared to the East is very different. I just cannot justify spending that kind of money anymore. Hence, i read up on products and try stuff that are reasonable .. and works. What about you..??
This is great for prenatal and postpartum moms. Yes.. ! you heard me right .. !! moms..!! this is used for your baby of course.. and nothing is more important than your baby right. A girlfriend of mine in Dallas was so impressed with it that she recommended this to all new mothers. She said it really made her alot less stressful.. knowing the baby will never get diaper rash. And it is made with organic oils and botanical but she can’t find it at her local stores, so I had to get them for her here, and send them by courier. We always joked that jobs in Dallas is easier to find that Barth Mama Bottom Balm.
While I may not go for facial that often since arriving in Canada, I do missed going to the one from home. It’s amusing the many people that walked into the Spa in Singapore… actually it is a fashion parade there. Everyone seems to have the latest handbags, latest shoes.. latest Tiffany rings and jewelry and of course, having the newest model of cell phone is also an “in” thing then. Since the ladies/gals that goes to the Spa that i was in and travel so much, their mobile phones are all unlocked phone but i didn’t know about all these.. till they showed me. How back dated was I then..?? I do missed that Spa.. and the treatment there, even when i had to pay the same amount of money there for my facials and massages. I felt it was worth it.. unlike here.
It absolutely suxs.. when a cold sore appears when you are just getting ready to go on a date or even just a night out with the girlfriends right. It is just so coincidental.. it’s amazing how it happens all the time. And donch you just hate it..!! i do .. !! HATE IT with a passion..!!
