A few weeks ago, I wrote to tell you all that i’m using the hydrating serum of Botanics and later that week, i went back to Shopper’s Drug Mart and got other things from Botanics too. I bought a Night Facial Treatment oil that you can use it every nite before sleeping.. and another day cream for the morning with SPF. So far, it isn’t bad .. but I’ll let you know more about it in another few weeks.
This isn’t my hair .. silly..!!! but i wished it was though. Great for any dance or formal cocktail or attending a dinner. Unfortunately, one has to go to a hair salon to get something like this done. The babysitter had her prom like last week.. and she went to her regular salon to do it. i don’t think it took a long time.. but it was pretty unique.. and nicely done if I may say.
The g/f wrote to say there was a sale on DKNY .. and although i’m not a very spendthrift person.. how could one resist a sale at DKNY right..? Ahhh..!!! i missed those good old days.. where i don’t have to worry about how much i spent.. the price of motherhood eh. We don’t have a DKNY where I lived, some donch even know what DKNY is. Sad!

A nite out with the girlfriends from outta town means a time to play dress up and put on my fancy shoes. Casual yet formal.. and with this outfit.. one can go just about anyways. This Botanics Hydrating Serum Capsules were less than $10 .. and you can break one out each nite.. squeeze out the serum.. and smooth it all over your face and nite.. and leave it overnite. And what’s the outcome..?? pretty good.. in fact .. i really like the no mess style.. and you can use it even when you are watching tv.. or just before sleeping. It did hydrate my face.. but not enough to quench my thirsty skin though. But for normal ladies/gals out there.. i think it would do the trick.

We’ve all heard the good old advise about drinking 8 glasses of water and I’m sure .. a lot of ladies like myself try our very best. Sometimes, it can be darn hard.. but i learned a trick .. about a month ago.. and never turned back. Not only does adding a tiny bit of real cranberry juice into your bottled water.. makes me wanna keep drinking water, we all know that real cranberry juice.. not the cocktail or concentrate ones.. does wonders for your body .. as especially when i hear can prevent urinary tract infection. Had i know earlier, i would definitely have put it into the baby bottle for my daughter.. so that by now she would be used to it.
So if you have a hard time drinking plain water.. which is great for your system… especially first thing in the morning, here is the brand i swear by. In fact, it was fluke that i stumbled on it.. while looking for some computer memory upgrades for my friend who owns a spa. Long story .. .but that will be for another day.
