For someone who had worn eye glasses almost all her life, you can imagine how important it is to get not only the right one.. but a fashionable one right..?? When i was a kid.. it really didn’t matter how the frames or lens looked like .. as long as it is functionable. But these days.. even for the kids.. it had to be light, it had to be the thinnest lens.. it had to be pretty. And you know what..?? some frames and glasses can get so expensive.. more expensive than the breeches that we buy for our horses.
But who can resist a designer brand frame..?? the opitician that I went to the other week.. had a full range of Dolce and Gabana frames.. and Gucci.. and more. The other one that i went to .. did not have designer brands.. but they were still pretty ex. The last time i changed my frames.. was like 9 yrs ago.. so it’s that time.. and i wanna make sure.. that mine is trendy. Dry skin can be really hard for some woman. Looking flaky is not a sight to behold and i’m sure you will know where i’m coming from.. if you suffer from dry skin like I do ever since coming to Canada. I hear that Dermaglow can help with dry skin – boasting of 8% of gylcolic acid and has peptides to help one’s skin softer and smoother. This product is called Dermaglow Glycolic – and i hear that after using it .. one’s skin becomes flawless – it’s like using double moisturizer. I’m gonna buy it soon.. and it will cost you about $40.
Great when you are on vacation or when you need to refresh yourself for the next meeting or any office cocktail after office hours. Can it be use as a regular cleansing wipe.. some asked me ..?? I don’t think so.. but a quicker is what i used for and they are safe enough to use everyday. I’ve used it for removing my waterproof mascara.. and although it didn’t remove everything.. it still did a pretty good job in my humble opinion. If you are afraid that it might dry out your skin, i can assure you .. that it did nothing of that kind for my skin. There are about 25 wipes to it.. and it cost me less than $5 .. so it was pretty good value for money.

Well a nail spa is not like your neighbourhood facial place that also does nails.. or your toe nails by filing it down and painting it the color you want. At a nail spa, one can expect a little more than that.. and you are supposed to get more pampering .. than the usual nail place. The ones I go to.. they make you dip them in paraffin wax as well. You can really feel the diff .. after using a exfoliation massage and then the dip.. and more massage. Yes.. ! i do pay a little more.. than the usual nail place.. around the corner of my store.. but that means..i don’t have to buy so many piano sheet music that week if i am going to a nail spa. Afterall, a girl needs some pampering every now and then eh.

Shinzi Katoh is an active artist and has also illustrated children’s as well as adult picture books. In the 70’s, Katoh began creating many designs and plans, working with a variety of mediums. These items would be sold domestically as well as overseas.
After working as chief designer for a stationery company, he designed goods incorporating ceramic, wood, melamine, glass, towel, tote bags and T shirts, while continuing to work on illustrated books.
He has published thirteen of Katoh’s children’s books. Yet another of his books was chosen for a prestigious Japanese children’s book award. He earned a good reputation as the designer who created the “Solarbear” character. The book “Solarbear” was published in 2006 by Sony Magazines. It is a cute story educating people about the problems of global warming. This year, 2008, he will illustrate three additional children’s books.
Katoh’s creations are gaining popularity overseas and have been shown at exhibitions such as Maison & Objet in Paris and NYIGF in New York. His products are currently available at MoMA in San Francisco, Le Bon Marche in Paris and many gift (zakka) shops all over the world.
Presently, Katoh is hard at work on many kinds of new products as well as oil paintings to be shown at a private exhibition in New York City. Adjacent to his studio, his own atelier shop & private gallery has become a special destination for travelers worldwide.
Love my toner and used it everyday.. but a girlfriend had asked me.. if toner is really necessary. Well, truth be told.. it isn’t .. but for some of us.. like myself.. i like the extra feeling of cleaning the residue of my make up or the day’s dust away .. before .. i put in stuff on my face.. and let it absorb properly.
