While the best friend is going to look for jobs in New York , we are heading up there for the Boxing Day sale. Every year i tell the spouse not to get me anything because one can get better deals after Christmas. Why pay more when you don’t have to right? But at Etsy, I don’t see any sale on as of yet. Try the Body Shop too, but you have gotta be quick, because things goes fast there. Even at Swaroski, there are no sales online either. But lots on Please Mum and lots on clothing. So if you wanna be smart, never buy anything for yourself.. before Christmas.. always after. Oh .. before i forget .. La Senza too!
I’m so into vintage things these days.. i think it has gotta be me getting old .. hahhahaha!!! but seriously … they remind me of my mother .. perhaps..?? and the good ole days. My mother and her business plan writers used to go to Tropicana for their dancing on Friday nites.. and yes.. they leave us at home.. on our own.. all 4 of us. We weren’t young .. but not that old either .. but we loved watching our mother all dressed up .. and going out for some fun because it makes her happy. Unfortunately, this one found on etsy had some beads missing.. and i wouldn’t know how to re-attach it .. even if my life depended on it .. so i’m giving it a miss this time.

While we keep buying stuff for the house this Christmas like those awesome stuff from Hubberton Forge i think it is time to indulge on myself a little bit. This vintage evening purse is exquisite.. because of the lovely diamond rhinestones on it. I love the detailed given to this evening bag and its crepe taffeta type of fabric. Love the goldtone flowers as the center on the top .. and included inside the pumpkin silk lining is a vintage bar napkin explaining “How to get in the dog house” cute. Product of the late sixties – only for the elegant.. and i can’t think of none other more elegant then my g/f – Macy. I bought this for her .. from Etsy .. for Christmas .. i hope she likes it.
I’m sure at one time or another.. you use those disposable sleeves when you get your coffee or tea right..? i do .. in fact on a everyday basis. And truth be told .. i don’t like it .. because it’s not environmentally friendly. Unlike these medical equipment that my g/f was looking at for her husband’s office., you see he is a doctor and needs stuff like that all the time.
