A few days ago, I had written that Swarovski USA & Australia is having a 50% sale – that kind upsetted me because me and my girlfrriends because we love Swaroski crystal very much. So I wrote to Swarovski and they in turned replied that I can look out for in store sale with individual stores selling Swarovski crystal instead – like the nordictrack incline trainer that one can buy and save $75. So anyhow, this morning – or rather – i had been check out the local jewelry stores .. and finally found one that was on sale at $35 instead of the $49 – so i bought it right away for my kid of course. I’m starting a collection for her young.
When i was pregnant with my daughter.. i looked like a whale – well, i felt like one too… hahha!! besides needing prenatal vitamins , maternity clothes is a must. I’m not pregnant now nor will i be since i already had a hysterectomy 1.5 yrs ago but still i cannot helped but wonder why one can purchase reasonably priced maternity clothings without paying and arm and a leg for it. I mean who wants to pay $19.99 for a t-shirt right..?? so if anyone has a good site.. please leave a comment and let me know.. that way i can share it with others.
So I’ve been asked many a times what can a facial do for you ? or does it really help with making one look younger? And I have to explain to people most of the time that a facial – one alone doesn’t do a lot to help one’s skin but a regular monthly facial is what that would do the magic. Whether you are using an anti aging product or not – a good facial not only cleans but exfoliates and nourishes your skin. A good massage on your face helps promote circulation and a facial helps to rid toxins from your skin. Of course – an extraction of all impurities is very important too. So if your skin therapist doesn’t extract – then it is not consider a good facial in my humble opinion.

So I asked her if she would get it for me and have it shipped to her and when she is down in Canada – she can bring it back to me. Now smart eh..?? hahahah!!! It’s great to have friends in USA.
For $14.99 – it’s worth trying i told myself and woman my age – 45 soon – must learn to take time and take care of not only their skin or how to lose weight fast but to give attention to every part of their body and health too – that goes without saying.
So my g/fs are anxious to know what i think of this Garnier Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Eye Contour Cream - well, it’s perfume free it said.. and it’s made from natural ingredients … and this cream is supposedly to firm up your skin and reduces wrinkles and supposedly help skin to revitalize to its natural condition.
Well, i used it for a week – and am pleased to report that it is not so greasy to use – and even though .. i donch have wrinkles yet around my eyes.. i feel that it has tighten my skin a little. I am gonna continue using it – since only a small amount is required. Prevention is always better than cure – i would say.
Rated one of the Top 10 products by EWG due to its incredible safety – I cannot help but want to get this. But having said that they are more expensive than my colon cleansing pills , so you know the aim of Casa and Spa is to find good and cheap stuff to recommend to everyone.
But you also want to buy something that is safe to treat your wrinkles and for those who have symptoms of premature skin and exposure to UV light and the sun – do you want to try a product that is mediocre? Good skin is important to all woman.. and i can’t seems to find a good moisturizer for the longest time – so i’m gonna bite that bullet and try it. I guess since it is an all in one moisturizer – i can justify it?
I love Etsy – one can find almost anything there – looking for a handbag – a soap or even a moisturizer or a blackhead removal. We all want good value for the money that we fork out and 9 outta 10 times – the sellers on Etsy are wonderful and they take pride in what they sell. But once in a while – it kinda bums you .. because you bought something paid for it.. and the item never arrived. And you write to the seller – and they tell you – i’m sorry – i don’t know what happened there and never offer you a solution. If it was $3 – that’s not a big deal but if you paid like $100 or more then it’s a great deal eh.
Anyhow – lucky for me – i didn’t pay anywheres near $100 but still it was good money – and the item took a month to arrive. A check with the seller – she said i’m sorry – she don’t know what happened and that was it and never made any attempt to contact me again. Well, it did finally arrived today – but it came with a plastic bag and no messages as per requested to be sent to the recipient. Awfully unprofessional and not wrapped up nicely like most etsy sellers would do. But this is the only bad experience i’ve had – so overall, i’m gonna be more careful from now on…. and make sure i know the shipping and no arrival policy.
Who doesn’t love designers handbags right? I loved them.. but don’t like to pay full price for it. Someone mentioned that while on her various new orleans vacations she had seen many designer bags on sale up to 50%. I love the Coach and Burberry and anything designer, so i took a look at some of things recommended that was online. This place mentioned was kinda like ebay – and you get notified of any sale that is up and coming. I saw some Swaroski sale on too, so I’m signing up right now and will let you know how it goes. I’m so excited.. wish me luck..!!
I used to buy perfumes at every DFS shop in the airport – you see i used to travel a lot for work – but now that I don’t and of course, not making as much money to splurge, one can only buy them when you find a good deal for it right? Plus someone who did green study told me once that too much perfume in the environment can hurt the environment…?? So this is my current excuse for only buying perfumes when it is a very good deal.
So just after Christmas – a good deal came along and i tested a few and ended up buying the one i like most – the Burberry Weekend. The smell? it’s light .. and citrusie and also a woody smell after a few mins. The woody smell was what attracted me to it . At $20 – I think I got the best deal, so yes, perfumes need not be expensive, if you wait long enough or be at the shop at the right time, you will get great deals.
