The girlfriend sent out baby announcements to all of us and invited us to a spa in town for a baby shower. Not uncommon these days but if you know how small our town is and how many spas we have here – you can imagine – how expensive it can get. If you are thinking that we let our girlfriend foot our bill for the spa – then you are wrong – we can never do that – we care about our girlfriend too much. Anyhow, the baby shower was more for the mummy than us – we just want her to be happy. It was expensive if you are thinking of throwing one too – but it was all in the name of good fun and cheer. For a 45 mins destressing facial – it cost us about $65 + tax and don’t forget to tip your esthetician too eh. Yes ! they do expect it – and even the home based spa in town that I used to go – she expects as much as $5 in tips. I do love going to spas – i for one used to go every 3 weeks when i was in Asia but here in Canada – I don’t think I am paying for value for money – if you know what i mean – so unless it was for a special occasion – i rather save my money for good skin care – what about you?
Great introduction to Bioelements custom-blending skin care products… includes cleansing, toning, treatment mask and massage…..just relax and de-stress!

Move away and set aside your lipsmackers and use only Lancome’s juicy tube even if you are investing in home gyms you don’t have to worry about these lip gloss breaking your bank. Albeit a bit more expensive than your regular girlish lipsmackers – this juicy tubes are to die for. Ultra shiny and oh so smooth that makes your lips shine! It not only glosses but makes the perfect pout for me but I didn’t feel like it was sticky nor did it taste like plastic – it’s awesome and long-lasting. One donch have to buy them from the Lancome counter but from an online store – would be a lot cheaper.

I was showing my g/f this website www.hcgdiet.net when she showed me her new TOD shoes instead – that she bought online from Voxx – of course I fell in love with it immediately – it looked somewhat like the ones i have had for the longest time – but I had left it home when moving across the Atlantic. Why do we go -ga – ga over these comfy pumps..?? very simple and straight forward – it’s really comfy and good for traveling. Made in Italy - they are very expensive – i bought mine for like $450 in NY but that was many years ago – you see i used to travel a lot for work and when i saw it in Bloomingdale.
My g/f bought hers at a discount – so she paid like $215 – which is a steal – i had exclaimed that it was ex – when she first showed me – but a look at the other prices – they were all at least at $365. I love the leather in soles but when you buy the color i did – you have to be prepared to see the dirt – like mine – as i wore them often enough. So, my question is would you pay so much for a pump? the spouse wouldn’t think so of course – but it was before we got together – i wonder what he would think – if i were to spend so much on a pump now – hahah!!

Yes, you heard right ! i was looking for some scanning software when the co-worker ran into my office and shouted – “COACH ON SALE!” I have been eyeing on this Coach Sabrina handbag for a long time. Many years ago, i wouldn’t touch a Coach – because i’m an LV gal - but after you have a family and a the spouse owns his own business and everything is cash and his responsibility – well – you naturally become a Coach gal – LOL! hahaaha! don’t get me wrong – Coach is nice but LV is nicer.
I started with the Coach Soho collection when i started out to be a Coach gal – what about you? I love the Sabrina collection because it’s very roomy and it’s loud – even though it’s not as loud as the LV – but one can mistaken it as a Gucci – what do you think? Coach no longer has just the plain letter – they now have more than monogrammed too. So if you are a convert like me – check them out.

For many years after having my kid – i really had no time for anything else except looking after her. Yes, she was a very demanding baby and toddler – she is still demanding – but at least now when i scream at her -she understands that i’m frustrated. Anyhow, now that the kid is older and I have more time to go shopping and browse and look at good deals – i’ve been getting a lot of perfumes at really, really good price. Prices you cannot resist like clinicallix – while others collects handbags or antiques – i collect perfumes. I tested recently a Dolce & Gabbana perfume and am kinda addicted to it but since i’m pretty el cheapo .. and would pay $60 for a bottle – i’m gonna look out for sale – whenever i pass the counter. Wish me luck now!

Like any parents in the world – you wonder what to do – when you lil’ girl decide she wants to play mummy or fashion model. Yes! i’ve been meaning to hunt down non toxic nail polishes for my daughter – who loves dressing up but hates the smell of grown up nail polishes. Albeit a bit expensive – i wouldn’t risk giving the kid hives because she might be allergic to some ingredients of the usual nail polishes.
Piggy Paint is as “Natural as Mud” in the sense that every ingredient in the polish is biodegradable with no traces or residues left behind, thus it would make an excellent addition to your mulch pile or as a feed for farm animals.
Our water-based nail polish is non-toxic, environmentally safe, hypoallergenic, with an odor that is extremely low, nearly nonexistent. It has the same look and durability performance as traditional kid polishes, but without the drawbacks of foul odors, toxicity, and damage to our environment and to your little ones’ nails.

The name Valentino is already enough to make anyone go .. Awwww… ! in awe but not everyone can afford to buy one and even if it was this lovely Valentino Rouched Petal Zip Satchel, at $2695 – I would really have to psyche myself big time to spend that kind of money.

And then I saw something pretty similar to Valentino’s – from Etsy and only at a tenth of Valentino – and handmade too! Sure it isn’t a Valentino – but hey ! it’s pretty darn good looking. All of the flowers were attached individually – everything threaded stitch by stitch – and if this can’t match Valentino’s – i don’t know who can. I will buy from Claudia Bag anytime – i read she can customize the color as well.

The weather may be warmer now but it’s still chilly and for years i wear a torque – when the weather is cold – until i found this at Country Road Australia. I didn’t think they were around anymore – till i was looking for term life insurance and came across the site. This knitted cap is knitted – i don’t know if it is hand knitted or machine knitted but it is just perfect because i can’t find any at Mark’s Wearhouse anymore – albeit expensive – i had gotten the help of my friend in Australia to get it for me and mail them to me since i cannot order online. Wished they have some online services soon though.

Marc Jacobs Paradise Rio Leather Tote is for sale at $995 – but i need a philly job to be able to afford it. But what a gorgeous looking handbag right? Love the color but light brown is more my color though. Don’t you just love the gold clipping and the handles isn’t so long either.. just nice for around the hands/elbow. For some – this look like a bit like my Hermes bag don’t you think ? But of course, the Hermes is way more ex – at $4500 – I don’t know how i did it before – but these days – i have to think alot before spending money like that. But for $995 – it’s definitely affordable for a lot of women out there.
