I won’t say my scalp is dry but it started like a few months ago – my scalp started getting itchy even after i’ve just showered and washed my hair. How irritating is that? i had asked my hair stylist and she said she didn’t think that there was a skin problem nor did she see any lice. Big relieve – coz’ i hate lice and i had them once when i was a kid.
So what could it be? I hate to be scratching my scalp and scarring them. My hair stylist suggested a different shampoo – she said that sometimes when you use a shampoo for too long – your head and skin on the head becomes sensitive to it. Doesn’t quite make sense but i was willing to try of course. And then i came across this book - Psoriasis of the scalp. But I can be sure it isn’t because Psoriasis is a long term skin disease and this is only happening now. Anyhow – i’m gonna change shampoo and see what happens.
Some 20 years ago, everyone needed a Guess Jeans or a Guess something but truth be told – i cannot stand the handbags – they are so gorky! sorry, just my opinion. But when i saw this belt on sale at our local store – i had to get it – without any coupons it was marked down to $9.99 – originally at $55. So how can i go wrong right buying something less than 10 bucks plus it is kinda branded not? I love the simplicity of this Guess belt and one can wear it with just about anything and everything. Fortunately, their clothings like is something that i’ve always liked and the sunglasses too. So what do you like about the brand Guess?
So we’ve all heard of sunscreen and suncare and we religiously use them when we are out in the sun – but what about after sun care? what is after sun care i asked the girl at Lancome counter – so she explained after whipping out her Acer Aspire and showing me the diagram of what the after sun care will do for one’s skin. You see the After Sun Care from Lancome is supposedly to have a skincare formula to help fight against premature ageing and to reinforce the skin’s natural defences after the sun. Created specially for the face – the rich lotion, can give your skin the freshness and soothing sensation and rehydrate your skin after the sun. It cost like $34 but i think it is worth it. What about you ?
Synthetic handbags are aplenty here and they are mighty cheap too. If a pattern i have taken fancyof – i really don’t mind if it is not leather. But i usually prefer leather or LV brands – but i don’t fancy buying non-authentic stuff. Some people just need lots of handbags but i say a few good ones is better than 100 non – authentic ones. But for those who buys imitation ones – don’t get me wrong – i won’t think that they are inferior – afterall, to each his own eh.
Time of the year to get some cute sandals again? this year – they are even cuter than the previous years – i am definitely gonna go for a pedicure soon – so that i can wear them. Usually, I wait till later in the year to get them but last year – i didn’t find any nice ones to get when they were cheap – but this year I’m gonna get them even though they are expensive because i planned to spend lots of time at the beach and BBQing.
Alot of people wonder where they can get the best massage and some men wonder why their wives needs a good massage every month. I’m guessing the woman’s body is different from the man – therefore after child birth – the body aches alot and the wind just runs all over your body – sometimes causing great pain.
I’m this way and i’ll have to tell you that more massage parlour in BangKok looks really sleazy but if you were at the Hyatt and used their spa facilities – you can be sure to get the best environment. Of course, some people swear by the back street parlours and i’ve been there too. Now if only they didn’t look so dirty – i wouldn’t mind going there and tipping the girls well. But for $30 extra, why risked it right..??
Shopping is definitely a good health therapy – i told the spouse that i didn’t need any testosterone boosters like some of his buddies – who must win in anything and everything he is in conversation about. But since I can’t get an LV bag yet till i go to Toronto – i would instead buy this Groat Bag from Aldo to satisfy my craving for a nice bag to carry.
Not that the one I have is not good enough – but you know us woman right? we need to have new stuff! i was quite hesitant and had wanted to wait till i am next in the city but the return policy at Aldo is so good – one cannot refuse not to buy and if you are like me in Canada – you would know that GST is going up by 2 percent – so i better hurry and get it before 1 July.
I’m not a big fan of Aldo – not because the shoes ain’t pretty but because when you have kids – you wear as flat as you can. I was out finding more about social security disability and came across this store – but actually the girlfriend who was back home was actually buying like 3 inches shoes from Aldo – so that kind perk my interest. I didn’t get to take any pictures inside – so sorry.
The boots and shoes are currently on sale now – but a look at it – it’s not as cheap as i had expected. The handbags were pretty cheap, but they are not made of leather – so i was abit apprehensive to buy them. But hey – if they are for casual wear why not eh? so yes I’m buying one online – free shopping for a limited period – so if you are into Aldo – hurry and don’t miss out.
I started buying Swarovski stuff when i started working – but back home – i had prefer gold to crystal. Unfortunately being in Canada for this long – i cannot find the kind of gold I like – they are often only 10K gold and to me – that’s not good enough – not meaning to sound like a snob. So the next best thing to buy that is worth my while are Swarovski crystal and I buy them like vitamins is to my health – I can’t get enough of it.
We don’t have a Swarovski where I lived – so when i found one in the city – it was exhilarating and I can’t get enough of it – we did get a necklace for my kid – but i didn’t see anything i wanted. The Emblema ring that i was eyeing on didn’t look that good on my fingers – you see I’ve got fat fingers. Anyhow – if you are looking for a Swarovski – there is one in the Halifax Shopping Center.
So my best friend is buying a Birkins for $14K and as easily as me buying Lipovox , I can only afford an LV – and not the newest style for your info – I always buy those out of season and out of fashion ones for they are a lot cheaper than the new arrivals. But we all know that replicas are everywhere and in fact one don’t even need to go to Korea – like most people do once upon a time to get good replicas – you can find them on facebook and online if you know where to search.
Now my question is – would you buy replicas? Replicas are not cheap at all – they are like 20% of the original price of the original LV – I’ve seen some really good replicas from Korea but have never bought any online. So again – would you risk buying them online? I don’t think I would I’m too el cheapo to waste my money on anything that is non-authentic – but for those who must get them – enjoy it – afterall, to each his own eh. I rather save enough money to get a real one - had i known that the Delightful Monogram PM were only at $800 – I wouldn’t have bought the Roote Handbag last month for $300 – i would rather save another $500 and get a branded one. What about you?
