Many like myself have asked ourselves at one time or another – when we want to lose those ugly bulges around our tummy after having a baby – do diet pills work or should i take some diet pills to lose those weight? I read up a lot about diet pills – to see what is worth buying and how much should be taken. But I also know in general that diet pills only works for those who eats right and exercise. As you can see – I’ve started exercising and have lost some weight – but I’ve still a lot to lose.
But yes – I incorporate lots of fish in my diet now – not fried fish but steam or baked fish with just garlic and paprika – no BBQ sauce or even honey garlic please. So yes – do read your reviews about the best diet pills to get – but in my opinion – exercises and eating right is just as important.
The only reason why I wanted to go for a regular steam/infrared sauna is to stay fit and to get rid of the toxins inside me. After all, when you haven’t exercise for the longest time – your body become sluggish. So when i signed up for a spa package – i wasn’t expecting to lose 10,000 calories every 30mins i spend inside this box – i was just looking to be healthy. But remember – don’t overdo it because if you are like me and have high blood pressure – I went from high blood to very low blood pressure. So now I only go for a steam or a infrared session once a week. Remember – staying fit is the main idea – not just losing weight in a hurry.
Everyone is interested in making some extra money – and so am I - how else can i stay committed to being beautiful right? So a little investment to making some pocket money on the side is always in my plans. I read about Forex mentoring program and it does look really interesting. It says I can learn a winning trade in 90 seconds? wow! intriguing indeed ! a check on the website shows lots of information – plus a free trial.
But if you are like me – and only want to invest – they also have brokers you can review. But like all investment – I want a safe investment – and I really don’t mind the slow or little returns – but the spouse on the other hand loves taking risk maybe he could look more into it for me. If he makes more money – that also means I can spend more eh?

Sewing is not my thing – i’ve butter fingers – and I’m not exactly what they called it creative – but when i see a good and cheap looking fabric – i can’t resist it. You see – when i was young – my mom had a friend who loves giving us fabric to make dresses. But little did she know that making a dress is very expensive – or maybe she does know? anyhow – I only buy fabrics that I like – sometimes I don’t sew them immediately – but when I find a good seamstress who don’t charge and arm or a leg – I would definitely do a dress or a skirt. @ $8.35 a yard – you only need like 2.5 yard for a skirt i think? This is only for the outta layer of the skirt – so I need to get another piece for the inside a plain brown color one – so in the end – I’m still going to pay a lot for the skirt – so I might not get this sewn anytime soon – maybe leave it for when my daughter gets married?
Received in the mail today in presentation covers and registered post about this new product in the market. I was quite impressed because all the information and brochures were clearly a work of art. I did enjoy looking through all the products in it and am thrilled that I was invited to test some of their products. Yes – the first impression to anything is very important – so having it lovely covers was a good choice – plus all the colorful brochures included in the presentation brochure was really eye catching. I’m definitely interested in checking this new product out – what about you?
So the post office left a card for me to go collect a parcel – and i wasn’t really expecting anything – so was kinda surprised. But you see – i had forgotten that i had ordered more panties from Triumph Canada! I went to the post office to collect the parcel – only to find my panties in them. It was on expedited parcel – really cool – i thought they were going to come with my regular mail.
So why Sloggi by Triumph? I was so happy with the first ones i got – i had to get some more. They were so comfy and fitting – i didn’t want it to go out of stock and I won’t have more. It is expensive I tell you at $13 a panties but what can you do when these are the high cut ones that I liked. And they are not the old fashioned grandmother type – they are the nice ones – with a bit of lace all around – sweet.
Every week – i try to have a scrub and a DIY mask like the one above that i buy from a drug store here at home. It’s not expensive – but you can only use them once and then you have to throw it away. It’s not really a great mask – but i think it is a good way to revitalize your face and skin and give your skin a breather – take away the impurities.
Why do I do that? because I had asked my aesthetician the other time – if people who doesn’t do facial – will their skin be bad? she said nope – she had met some – who never had a facial in their life – and they had great skin. So what did she mean by that? I went home and ponder on it – and realized what she was saying is – if you know how to take care of your face – you don’t need to depend on a deep cleansing facial each month. So I’ve decided to revitalize my face every week – by doing various mask that I have bought and then only go for facial once every 3 months instead of a monthly business. What do you think?
I don’t know if you all notice – but I have been exercising everyday – step aerobics! Yes! I needed something low impact because I haven’t exercised for as few months now. So I chose step aerobics – and it seems to be working out for me – so a few girlfriends and me – got together in one of our basement – we put up a video on step aerobic and started exercising with the video. We each brought our ipods since we were quite familiar with the steps and didn’t like the music on the exercise tape on our second day. And it’s amazing how small ipods are these days – a friend has an ipod shuffle – which was tiny tiny ! and another used her ipod touch for the music – pretty amazing. As for me – i have my ipod nano – the 8gb one – it was a birthday present from the spouse and it sure came in handy. Anyhow – it had been about a month and a half since I started on step aerobics and I must say – that with my music/ipod – i really didn’t need the company – so I do it on my own when my girlfriends are not available.
So I went to get a haircut the other day with my daughter and the hairstylist was flooded with calls – with people who needed to sugar their eyebrows. Now that raised my eyebrows too – I am used to waxing my eyebrows – so i asked her what’s the difference? I heard of the stripless waxing – that was something new to me a year ago now when another esthetician recommended it to me. So anyhow – this is what i learned and it is pretty interesting – because according to my hairstylist the ingredient is so easy – you can actually do it yourself – the sugaring i mean. But i would never attempt it myself – because i’m so bad at doing my eyebrows on my own – and i wouldn’t wanna mess up and look horrid – hahah!!
So this is what i learned – the technique of sugaring is from Arabic culture and they have been sugaring for centuries. This technique is said to smooth the skin and make one more beautiful. Sugar wax is a thick, syrupy compound. Many people relate its appearance to honey or soft caramel. Like these sweet substances it is compared to, sugar wax is also extremely gooey and sticky. This makes it easy to apply, and is what causes it to remove hair nicely, as it clings to individual hairs very well. The concoction is also water soluble, which means that, unlike other waxes used to remove hair, it washes away easily with plain water.
No chemicals or artificially made products are used in making sugar wax. Actually, the ingredients are so common you could make the wax at home. Typical sugar wax is made using granulated sugar, water and lemon juice. When hair that has been sugared regrows, it is finer and lighter in color. After continuous sugaring, hair may eventually cease to regrow in these areas. Sugaring is also gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin or areas with varicose veins. So there you have it – have you been sugaring your eyebrows and don’t know about it ? the next time you have your eyebrows reshaped – check with your esthetician eh.
About a month ago – I bought Aveeno Positively Ageless to try – I don’t know if you remember that? And I had said that I was gonna come back and let you know how it was working out. So here is how I feel about it – I think if you have normal skin like myself and have been taking care of your skin – then you won’t need this product. Why? because this product left me feeling very dry – after an hour or so of using it. So much so – that I have to keep moisturizing my face every other hour to make myself and my skin feel comfy.
But having said that – i think that if you do have wrinkles – and a lot of it – it helps to pull back the skin? That was how i felt when i was using this product. So at 45 – I still don’t think I need it yet – maybe later in the years? For those who have tried it – do drop me a comment – and let me know how it worked for you. For me , I will have to stop using it now and I’m ordering something else from Kose online – maybe Asian skin are different?
