My kid spends Saturdays at her grandparents but at times she doesn’t want to go – because she needs to wash her hair as soon as she gets home – why? both grandparents smoke like a chimney although they don’t smoke in front of her when she is around or in the house. But years of smoking and spending a few hours a week with Grammie sure leaves my kid feeling almost cranky from the smell of the cigarette. So this Easter, we started looking into electronic cig for both grandmother and grandfather – not only can they save money – no more smelly hair and clothing for all of us visiting them.
Seriously, I hope they use the electronic cigarette because we try our darnedest not to visit because we hate the smell of cigarettes and the spouse has asthma and it definitely doesn’t help spending a lot of time with the in-laws. But we need to be sensitive too – since they won’t like the idea – so we are just going to buy it and say that our advertisers sent them to us for reviews – muahahahaha!!! so if you have in-laws like mine – who needs to smoke every 30 minutes – you can do exactly like us.
With the amount of pregnant women in this town – you would think that someone would be smart enough to bring in a maternity store that sells maternity clothing . But nope – till today – my brat is 7 yrs old and we have to either get our “nice” maternity clothing online or in the city. I myself, didn’t get my maternity clothes from Walmart or Zellers – they were way too ugly – I resorted to going to the city – and online to buy mine.
I didn’t feel good the whole time I was pregnant with my baby but I wasn’t going to be sloppy and dress in my PJs the entire day – so I bought some maternity capri – and trendy maternity tops and dresses and even maternity lingerie – for this is the only time we can have some fun without worrying right? hahah!! but you gotta keep the man interested too – by dressing up sexy. Some pregnant woman feel that they cannot look sexy – but that’s so not true – being pregnant is the sexiest thing ever. So I tell all my girlfriends to enjoy their pregnancy and dressing up to the max – with comfy, trendy maternity clothes. Looking good is half the better won – when you are not feeling good during pregnancy.
Some people think that sexy costumes or lingerie are only for young woman or girls who are just in love and wants to impress their boyfriends or lover but they are so wrong. A secret to share with you all – old farts like us love kinky lingerie too! hehehe!! yes – the longer you are in a relationship – I think you need to spice it up a bit and what’s wrong with wearing sexy lingerie – for your spouse? nothing at all ! so if you haven’t tried it – go right ahead and surprise your spouse with this sexy devil costume – if red isn’t your color – try a black one. In fact, if you are adventurous enough – this can double up as a Halloween costume for your next Halloween party.
Spring is almost here and like all beautiful woman – we want to look our best – this is what I chose to wear the first day of Spring 2011 – what do you think of it? Most of the outfit can be found on Forever21 and although I am not – I still fit pretty much in this style – lucky me.
I had tailor made some cheong sum from Hong Kong last year and they finally arrived. I guess I must have put on weight because I can’t get into them. I can’t send them back – because it would be too much to spend – and the tailor here – don’t know what to do with Cheong sums so the next best thing to do is to get the best diet pills – start exercising like crazy before June’s wedding of my friend and try getting into the cheong sum again. So remember people – if you are going to tailor made your clothing – make sure you do it locally – else you will be stuck with them – and believe it or not it’s not a good feeling – too much pressure.
Mini shell skirt like this was very popular in the 80s – during my mother’s time. So when I saw it online – I had to get some for myself. I love mini shell skirt – and my daughter had asked me – would it be hard to sit on – hahha! No they won’t be – they are pretty ok to sit on. I love the color too – ordered some online – hope to see it quick.
It’s still very winter here in Canada – and yes ! the days are still very short and the nights long – but that doesn’t mean one need to dress up gloomy – to fit the weather right? Bulky jacket and pants can still look fashionable and cool – if you know how to dress up.
Something like this – is pretty fashionable and not difficult to put together – i would think.
I think the most important thing about winter fashion is still the scarf and the boot – a nice and fashionable boots go a long way.
The weather is so cold here – even in the spring and fall – you need a hat – but I only so far found a hat made of wool from Mark’s Wearhouse. But even then – they had 2 colors – so I only bought one – that was brown in color. But wearing a wool hat in the spring and fall- doesn’t seem fit – and I never thought I would find the perfect hat – but it’s very expensive – from Etsy at $63. *sigh*. But someone may like it – so here is the description of it.

My girlfriend wrote and asked me what she should wear for going to bowling for the first time with a date. She wanted something casual but not in her PJs – but she didn’t want to scare the date away – into thinking she is very expensive to have as a girlfriend – but didn’t want him to think she is sloppy either. And you know what – those gals in Asia are so lucky – they can wear just about anything – while I – yours truly need to hide under a huge bulky jacket to keep warm at least 6 months a year. So anyhow – I showed her what I would pick – casual enough?
Dressing up my kid is so easy – especially during Christmas – she looks good in anything – because she is slim and tall. It’s easy to buy dresses for her and she is a girlie girl – so if the dress is fluffy and pink – it would be better. But since we are attending a black tie event this year – she needs to be a little bit more dressier. Found this dress in the local mall – and we just loved it. What do you think?
