Spotted a leather gloves for winter at Mark’s Wearhouse and thought to myself.. that this year.. i’m gonna be as fashionable as those who have New York Jobs or even on wall street. Sure they were like $29.99 but i think .. a girl need to splurge once in a while .. don’t you think..?? This leather gloves comes in a few colors.. but i bought a brown one instead.. and its leather was really soft.. water resistant.. and good for now.. the fall this early winter…. i cannot guarantee that it will be warm enough for the colder part of winter.. because the girl working at Mark’s Wearhouse couldn’t tell me. Disheartening to talk to sales ppl at such a reputable store .. who doesn’t know their products.
While looking for some digital camcorders on the internet, i found this beanie for adults on Etsy. A wee bit more expensive than what i wanna pay for it.. but it is certainly lovely. Hand crochet of course, since they are from Etsy, it has a little visor and a big flower – daisy on the side. Made of 100% cotton yarn - a great thing to have for the fall, when it starts to turn cold. I didn’t want a toque to keep me warm.. but something like this beanie would certainly be stylish and fashionable and it will keep my head warm. So i ordered a few crotchet flower beanies for my girlfriend’s kid and my own instead of getting them some Naot that we liked so much. But this lady at Etsy had priced these beanies at such awesome prices.. how can one refused right..?? it’s the postage that can really kill.. but i really liked them. .and i know my kid and theirs would looked really lovely in them .. especially during the winter. Afterall, winter doesn’t means that one has gotta be frumpy right..??
The g/f wrote to say there was a sale on DKNY .. and although i’m not a very spendthrift person.. how could one resist a sale at DKNY right..? Ahhh..!!! i missed those good old days.. where i don’t have to worry about how much i spent.. the price of motherhood eh. We don’t have a DKNY where I lived, some donch even know what DKNY is. Sad!

I swear friends who don’t know me too well.. might even think that I am originally from Australia.. because of my love for things from Australia. Country Road is one of my favorite place to get my clothing.. and just about anything – boots, shoes, handbags and even my baby’s clothing.
Don’t be fooled.. that all woman must look like this model .. to wear something like this from Country Road.. because they do have sizes for fuller woman. And prices are reasonable.. but the clothing are long lasting. Stuff that I had bought some 10 yrs ago.. are still wearable.. and looks presentable as well.
Who doesn’t love La Senza right..?? even the biggest woman.. can find something sexy here. Unlike Victoria Secrets.. i found that La Senza .. definitely caters to just about everyone. No matter if you are a teen.. or a 45 yrs old housewife.. like myself.

I do love Reitmans.. because they have clothing that fits me and fits me well. They are indeed fashionable.. and sometimes they have very good deals. Since they moved to their new location .. away from the mall, I haven’t been into it at all because it is not as open as the one in the mall.. and not as inviting. I know they are the same company and all.. in fact the same gals working too.. but just so inconvenient.. because it is in another part of the town. A visit today to the new location saw some pet beds i thought was for sale, but nope apparently they belonged to one of the working gal there.. and she had just bought it. So instead of buying clothes for myself.. i ended up getting something for my pet.
Before coming to Canada.. socks had to be a tinge of pink.. with pom pom on it .. preferably. And it only has gotta be ankle high.. slight above .. not higher. I’ve often lament that after coming to Canada.. i never have anything nice.. and when i saw some cute pom pom socks during Christmas.. and cheap at that.. i had to get them.
But alas, after wearing it.. i realised that practicality is a need here in Canada.. the socks wasn’t warm enough.. and my $12 for 8 socks are way warmer than the pom pom socks i had gotten. So i’m gonna stop whining about not having nice things to wear from now on .. all because i’m in Canada..!! where winter is like 6 months long.
Gem of Life Episode 40, I am waiting to watch and of course checking out their trendy stuff. Can’t wait !! i know my blog buddy will have it, so i’m going crazy checking her blog often. Hahahah!
