Winter is definitely coming and like most of us – we hate that we have to wear bulky winter clothes and jacket – because they are so heavy. And once we are indoor – we have to remove everything and hang on to it – while shopping for groceries or just plain shopping – very inconvenient if you asked me. But last year – the spouse found a winter wear make of this T-Max insulation – and the jacket isn’t heavy nor bulky. Last year – they only had it for the men section – this year – i found that they had ladies outwear made from the exact same T-Max insulation.
Of course I jumped onto it and went to get one – they come in black, morning sky and pewter in color and i bought black for practical reasons of course. So no more bulky winter wear for me this winter – woohoo! and it’s currently on sale for $59.99 – and if you make use of the $10 card off – for every $50 spend – it’s only $49.99 + taxes (taxes sucks of course) ! but not bad at all – because the spouse bought his for over $125 last year if I remembered correctly.
While Australia is having their summer – I’m looking out for warmer jacket – outer ones but lighter please. The ones i have are pretty bulkie and a lot more heavier. Last year the spouse bought one from Mark’s wearhouse bu they didn’t have a lady’s cut – so i didn’t get it. But this year – I see they do have a lady’s cut – but they are so much more cheaper? why? I have yet to go see it because this is the first I’ve seen online – so I’m gonna check it out and let you all know. This one here is only $59!! and if it is the same jacket the spouse bought – I would definitely get one too.

The spouse’s niece was invited for a masquerade party at the end of the year – by her office friends – and she came over to borrow my tiara and look thru’ some prom dresses that I still had and were kept in good condition. When I was buying my prom dresses – I made sure to choose those that were long lasting in style and those that I can wear on other occasion like a ball – or a party. Even when i was young – I was pretty smart when it comes to buying things. Like the tiara – I had kept it for years after my prom – and now the niece can use it and dress up like a princess. So remember when you buy your next prom dress – choose those that you can wear again and again.

So you are home with your kids but you don’t feel like wearing your jeans – since you are just going to do some housework and hang out with the kids and the spouse. Do you stay in your PJs? most people do – now that’s a huge mistake no? i mean really? do you wanna see your spouse walking around in his boxers all day? Think about it? My solution? a tee jamas – as soon as I saw one some 16 years ago – at Marks & Spencer – i never turned back – what better way to lounge around the house in your tee-jamas. You don’t really need to spend a lot – just a fashionable tee – that you can wear around the house – but not for sleeping eh – and a decent jammie pants – i think it is sexy enough – what do you think? This one is from Victoria’s Secret though – but you get the idea right.

Sewing is not my thing – i’ve butter fingers – and I’m not exactly what they called it creative – but when i see a good and cheap looking fabric – i can’t resist it. You see – when i was young – my mom had a friend who loves giving us fabric to make dresses. But little did she know that making a dress is very expensive – or maybe she does know? anyhow – I only buy fabrics that I like – sometimes I don’t sew them immediately – but when I find a good seamstress who don’t charge and arm or a leg – I would definitely do a dress or a skirt. @ $8.35 a yard – you only need like 2.5 yard for a skirt i think? This is only for the outta layer of the skirt – so I need to get another piece for the inside a plain brown color one – so in the end – I’m still going to pay a lot for the skirt – so I might not get this sewn anytime soon – maybe leave it for when my daughter gets married?
So the post office left a card for me to go collect a parcel – and i wasn’t really expecting anything – so was kinda surprised. But you see – i had forgotten that i had ordered more panties from Triumph Canada! I went to the post office to collect the parcel – only to find my panties in them. It was on expedited parcel – really cool – i thought they were going to come with my regular mail.
So why Sloggi by Triumph? I was so happy with the first ones i got – i had to get some more. They were so comfy and fitting – i didn’t want it to go out of stock and I won’t have more. It is expensive I tell you at $13 a panties but what can you do when these are the high cut ones that I liked. And they are not the old fashioned grandmother type – they are the nice ones – with a bit of lace all around – sweet.
Victoria’s Secret is not all about sexy lingerie – as you can see – I was looking for a sports bra – because i have been doing step aerobics of late and going to branch out to do it with a group of ladies – at the Y. So one cannot wear just your ordinary bra for exercises right? your chest/breast needs the support if you are exercising if you didn’t know by now. This bra has an underwire to support your breast while you exercise and is super sexy as you can see. Virtually seamless under your clothes – so it said. Comes in different colors and at $45 each – I ordered one online.
I’ve been on a shopping spree and bought some Sloggi Maxi !! finally !!!! I found Triumph Canada and they do – online orders!! whooohooo!!! you see i love having my panties covering my tummy – it feels comfy – and if you have a little tummy – you will know what i mean. It makes wearing jeans so much more nicer on you – tummy flat and all. Too bad they don’t have the Hikini anymore – they only have the Maxi – I bought 2 of them at $13.50 each and shipping was like $5 if i am not wrong. It didn’t take long to arrive either – so i’m pretty pleased with it. The only problem i have with buying online is – you can’t see the real size – and i think I might need to order a size smaller in the future – but overall – it was ok – i could still wear these ones – but once i start losing weight – i think they will have to go. Lacy panties isn’t for the everyday use – so i’m just a simple person – and wants comfort and if you like comfort – you will know that the Sloggi Maxi is the best.
Yay!! summer is really here!! it had been so hot and if you know the part of Canada I am in – you know that I don’t get to dress up this way very often. Ahhh! nice to be out wearing sandals even if it was just to run some errands. This outfit was what i had brought along from home some 10 yrs ago but never got around to wearing them. As much as I like shopping – i can’t really find the things i like here these days – i shop online a lot – what about you?
Found them online like i said – and since my friends here was so interested – i showed them where they can get it – at Walters. I don’t usually wear grey unless they are for office wear but this summer outfit seems cool enough don’t you think. So grey can be fun too gals – check it out yourself.
