New Kid In Town

So we went shopping at the mall after the new year – to find this new nail store opened for business – now that’s cool – the mall needed something like that – especially for people who loved to shop. So I tried calling the girlfriend to see if she would meet me at the mall – to check out this new nail place – but my cellphone connection wasn’t that great n the mall – wished they would invest in some cell booster – for folks like myself who needs to get good reception all the time. There are some blind spots in the mall – and it can get very frustrating.

Anyhow, I finally gave up calling the friend and took a look around the nail place – it’s pretty equipped as you can see here – and a team of Vietnamese people doing the nails and feet. Their prices are pretty good too – a Pedicure and Manicure is only $45 and they do BIO Gel nails too and Solar Nails and Acrylic Nails. What i’m looking forward to try is the hug massage chair that comes with your pedicure. But wait a minute – I’m also worried about hygiene – I certainly don’t want to catch any fungus – but thus far it’s new – so I should go check it out soon.

New Boots For New Year

Yes! I’ve been boots crazy lately ! but can you blame a girl for wanting to look nice! we were in the city and I saw this and they fit my dress that I am planning to wear for the New Year party – so I bought it – not very expensive – I paid like $110 for them – pretty cool right – my favorite color too – green! and the kind of green i liked too!

BCBG Wooden Wedge Sandals

I just started to love the wooden wedge kinda sandals and when I saw it in the shop – guess who bought it for Christmas ! woohoo!! yes ! crazy a bit about shoes these days – I have someone make a shoe case for me – just for my shoes. These were going for like $200 – but they were on sale and you can blame a girl for loving the sale right? Good buy for only $92!

Winter Boots With Heels

Yes! I can’t get enough of the winter boots as you an see – so I’m getting a little more adventurous and trying out winter boots with heels. Of course, the spouse doesn’t think it is a good idea – but if you never try, you never know eh. And this is a winter boots from Payless but it’s not cheap either – about $145 but it’s very comfy – I loved it – wait till i get a chance to go out and walk with it. A woman can’t have enough boots right? I think the spouse needs to make room for my shoes and boots in the basement really soon.

I just bought my fall boots not too long ago – and the mall is filled with winter boots already – and I’m so tempted to get them. But like all boots – I need to find one that won’t hurt my feet and those are pretty expensive. Look at all the selection one can get – I’m sure those back home where it’s hot all year round yearns to wear these boots – I’m so happy that I’ve found the joy in wearing these boots again.

Warm and fuzzy is what I would love to get for this winter.

Fall Boots

So I was up in the city last week – and besides buying stuff for my daughter – I also splurged and bought a fall boots for myself – woohoo!! I’m pretty happy with my buy because I loved this boots for a long time and had wanted it – but never seems to be able to find something i liked. And if you see what it is – you would think it is an UGG boots – but nope – it sure looked like it.

I wore it as soon as I bought it – and loved the feel of it – but the heel hurt my feet after a while – so I’m going to have to buy some insoles for them. They did have UGG at this shoe place in Halifax – but they were a lot plainer and a lot more expensive – so for now – I’m happy with this one – and if I like it a lot – I shall invest in an UGG next year. This nice fleecy fall boots only cost me $103! pretty good price right?

From Crocs, at $29 … definitely a worth buying…!! not only is it comfy.. it’s trendy .. and stylish. Fun to wear.. and allows your feet to breath during the summer. So slim fitting.. it makes your feet looks petite.. and the feminine design makes it the ultimate footwear to get. The foot bed is said to conform to foot creating custom fit.. and the rumor has it that it stimulates your blood flow like reflexology.

Shiny Stiletto

Shiny Stilettos are to die for and I found some at Modesto – a local store in town. I just had to buy it – they were so pretty. It wasn’t cheap of course – coming from Italy – but I love how slender the stiletto make my legs look and it sure gave me some height alright. But if fit me so good – it was pretty awesome – and I didn’t feel tired after walking with it for a few hours. This will be my party shoes from now on. How much did I pay for it? too much! haha!

Dicoloration Of Your Nails

For the longest time I avoided putting nail polish on my nails because I’m worried about discoloration or my nails turning yellow in color. I’ve always thought that one need to “air” your nails – but apparently I am wrong. According to my nail specialist she said that our nails do not need to breathe because it doesn’t have any pores like our skin. So one can actually polish one’s nail 365 days a year – without worrying about discoloration. So why is it when I paint my nails – they turn yellow in color? i guess it’s because I didn’t put on my base coat. Plus if the finger nails are always yellow or black then it is a diet problem or if you are a smoker – the tobacco that caused the stain from smoking. Sleeping very little or if you are a swimmer – the chlorine can also caused temporary discoloration. Therefore, please make sure you look at your diet and change to a healthier diet.
