So I had my hair color redone – FINALLY! after year! but this time – i didn’t want to stain my mattress and use a DIY color – i went to a real salon and a bolder color too. The last time i had mine colored was a year ago – so i finally found time to do it and even though it was busy at work – i still made it – albeit a bit late.
I had highlights done the last time using cap and no hair cuts but it cost me like $85 – i think – so i was a bit apprehensive using the cap again. I had requested for foils instead – and wanted to keep the foils to as much as only $50 because i had to have a hair cut too. But to my surprise – the cost was only $78.50 after taxes. The color came out nice – so i was very happy with it and i had my hair cut a lot shorter – in order to be able to prevent more hair loss on my part. So there – i’m a very happy woman now.
I won’t say my scalp is dry but it started like a few months ago – my scalp started getting itchy even after i’ve just showered and washed my hair. How irritating is that? i had asked my hair stylist and she said she didn’t think that there was a skin problem nor did she see any lice. Big relieve – coz’ i hate lice and i had them once when i was a kid.
So what could it be? I hate to be scratching my scalp and scarring them. My hair stylist suggested a different shampoo – she said that sometimes when you use a shampoo for too long – your head and skin on the head becomes sensitive to it. Doesn’t quite make sense but i was willing to try of course. And then i came across this book - Psoriasis of the scalp. But I can be sure it isn’t because Psoriasis is a long term skin disease and this is only happening now. Anyhow – i’m gonna change shampoo and see what happens.
I used to buy perfumes at my whim and fancy, especially since I traveled a lot and when i am at an airport – i cannot help myself but to buy perfumes and cosmetics because I am not into liquor or wine or anything alcoholic. I even managed to get treatments for hair loss at the DFS shops at one of the airport because i was already lossing hair some 10 yrs ago.
Anyhow, these days – i rarely buy perfume without first testing them and waiting for over night before deciding if they are a good buy. I’ve collected some pretty cool perfume at very cheap prices – like the burberry i bought during Christmas and Calvin Klein’s Eternity. Today i bought Calvin Klein’s Truth at $19.99 for a 50ml bottle because it was on sale – i don’t need more perfume but i see no harm in buying them when they usually retail for at least $59.99.
While the outlaws are looking forward to a electronic cigarette for Christmas.. i can’t wait to get my hands on this new ice blue shampoo from the body shop. I used it many years ago.. and just loved it.. not that it did my hair dropping any good.. but the smell of menthol.. and the invigorating feeling the shampoo makes my hair feel… makes it look like it is stimulating my roots on my head. It has Aloe Vera in it.. and that is supposedly the caused of a soothing and hydrating scalp after washing one’s hair. I just love the feeling .. that i’m at least trying something to help my hair from dropping too, too much.
While looking for some medical equipment online, i got diverted to more important things.. like this hair piece i found on Etsy. I was looking for something english to wear for a fall wedding coming up soon. And I know .. the bride would definitely appreciate everyone dressing up. It’s a gorgeous hair piece .. and so 40s .. handcrafted with velveet petals .. and natural feather.. and it clips easy on your hair. .and it’s a high grade metal clips tht is used. DolorisPetunia is at Etsy and you get get this hair piece .. at $75 .. so i’m gonna see if the rest of the gals will buy the same hair piece with me… and we can go for the wedding in class.. 
This isn’t my hair .. silly..!!! but i wished it was though. Great for any dance or formal cocktail or attending a dinner. Unfortunately, one has to go to a hair salon to get something like this done. The babysitter had her prom like last week.. and she went to her regular salon to do it. i don’t think it took a long time.. but it was pretty unique.. and nicely done if I may say.

No one wants to admit they have dandruff.. hahha!! not me..!!! but i’m sure you all know that dandruff if not something dirty or anything right..?? well.. in most ppl’s mind they are. So why do woman not want to admit they have dandruff..?? i think it is more a self conscious thing .. an embarrassing thing perhaps.
So yes.. what is dandruff..?? Well.. dandruff is a dry scaly condition of the skin on the scalp. White dry flakes falls from your scalp due to dry skin cells, could be related to stress or your diet. So does using a dandruff shampoo helps..?? I can’t be absolutely sure .. but i’m sure it cannot do worst right..?? Plus i was told I have to drink lots of water.. and eat lots of fruits and vegies. And of course, you have to rinse out your hair properly lah. So why am i writing this..?? that’s because I HAVE DANDRUFF..!!!!! EEEEEEwwwwwWEEEEKKK..!!
I used to go to a salon one at Starrs Road and I really liked it alot. Unfortunately, they are always busy.. and closed early too. What i liked best about the salon has gotta be my hair stylist .. who talks just about everything and very informative From current event to cornbread dressing , we could yak like long lost friends. But ever since she quit, she had been working from her home.. and charging us a lot cheaper than the salon. As such, i am sure like any unsloppy wife, i get to see my hairdresser a lot more.. and paying less. So which one would you choose right..?? to go to your hairdresser’s home.. or the salon..??
Outrageous hair..??!!??? Nah..!! if i were her age.. once again.. i would be as outrageous too.. ! afterall, you only lived once eh..!! I admire .. her willingness to try everything once.. and get it outta her system. If my daughter grow up and become a teen.. i wouldn’t stop her either.. just no tattoos please.
As for woman my age.. oh please..!! don’t ever do that..!! As much as i love to be trendy.. you and i know that this will not be fitting for a 43 yrs old..hhaha!!! but looking at Katelynn.. i know that i’ll be seeing something like that on my teen in the future.. because only at 4.5 .. she already put on Kate’s make up for her.. for makeover.
Simply awesome eh..!! Yah..i’ll be pretty popular if i was dying my hair like this.. when i was a teen.
I never used to want to color my hair.. nor did i want to highlight them. .because my mom used to say that they can caused cancer. Muahahhaha!! yup..! that was my mom for you. How true is it..?? I don’t really know.. of course, anything and everything can caused cancer these days. But as one grows older.. we know that Hair color and highlights are a neccessity.
I do it because.. i have very thin hair.. and by giving it some highlights.. it makes my hair looks like it has got more body. An illusion of a fuller head. I never used to do stuff like this on my own.. i mean color or highlight my hair.. but in the West here .. you get loads to choose from. From the color to the treatment after.. and even for what type of hair.. and features.
A box of color can cost as little as $10 .. and if you have a great g/f who is into dressing yup . .and looking pretty .. then you are all set. Oh.. don’t forget to wear your lousiest t-shirt.
