Yes ! I had to buy myself something right to end the year with something good as everyone tells me – and since I loved handbags so much – I had to get this Marc Jacobs Tangramarama Sam Tote.  What a name right?  yes!  long and weird but I loved the look of the handbag.  Made of leather and suede – this handbag cost me about $500 – I know it’s a lot of money – but compared to my LV crazed years – this is nothing.

The other goodie that I bought was this Bow Clutch by J. Crew for less than $50 – it’s on discount – and who can resist a bow clutch – goes with any of my evening wear and cocktail parties even for housewarming.

Love this handbags from R+J Handbags and at a discount price of more than 50% from FAB – you have gotta buy it.  The color is right – and at $51 – everyone can afford it.  I like the simple yet classic design and even though it’s not leather – I can lived with it – I think a really good buy to add to my handbag collection.  They come in different colors too – the other color i liked is brown – so I may get both the brown and black.

It’s great to be Roots insider – because you get first dips on all the goodies they have new.  I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these bags.   And as much as I would loved to get one before Christmas – I’m waiting for a 25% discount before buying one.

The Eva Bag was introduced to me by a friend – made of animal vinyl friendly material – at less than $100 – plus the color is what I liked is somewhat hard to resist for me.   This Eva Pumpkin Orange bag is very roomy and well-stitched – but the only thing I don’t like about hte bag is the shiny chain for a holder.  Why?  I’m afraid of static !  didn’t I tell yer!  But the color is so gorgeous !  The Eva Bag from Zaum.

Yes! i’m quite the bag snob – so the spouse named me that – I won’t carry anything that is not genuine.  No matter how real or how good a fake is – a fake is a fake.  And sure I love the LVs – but I loved other good bags too – like the Mulberry – which are so ignored.  This Evelina Hobo is meant for Spring and Summer 2012 – but I’m going to order it now – so that I can have this for a Christmas present.

Roomy and very stylish as you can see here – the color is the color I like too  – at  £790 – tis’ really a good price for a Mulberry.

Normally, I do not like to buy anything that is not leather – but this brown buckle tote is pretty nice – and also darn cheap ! only at $29.99.  I love the simple style and the feel of the tote – but most important – it’s because it is pretty spacious inside.  Great for using daily – for work – and also to carry a small 11″ notebook in.

And one can hardly go wrong with a $30 bag right?

Hand made – and you know I loved handmade stuff – and large tote handmade is hard to come by.  This Daisy Tote in tangerine color is meant to be retro – made in Seattle, Washington – at $88 – great for laptops – e – readers, and everything you need for the day.  But the material is vinyl – and not leather like I hope – but for those who don’t mind – not having leather – Glitter Sweet is the  online store.

Earlier during the summer – I saw this canvas bag from Reitmans and bought it because I thought would be good for summer outing and even for the beach.  But alas, I had forgotten all about it – till this week – so my cheap and poor Reitmans bag finally got some use for it – but summer is almost over.  It’s quite a roomy bag but made of canvas and about $30 only – but it’s cute and it served its purpose and I loved it.  But they did go on sale – and it was like half the price I paid – but oh well – still cheap enough I guess.

So my leather wristlet from Etsy finally arrived after ordering it for 3 weeks but that’s to be expected since it’s coming from USA.  I do like the color but the wristlet is a wee bit too big from what I had expected – and squarish too.   The spouse said it looked like a pencil case with a handle – hahahha! MAN!  what do they know eh!  but yes – quite plain if you asked me – but it’s ok.  Would I buy another one – not at the moment – the wristlet didn’t strike me like something my friends would want.

I have been shopping quite a bit on Etsy of late – because I can’t get enough of handmade stuff.  I’ve always wanted a wristlet made by Cat B Studio.  It was at $59 USD – but I think it’s worth it – I like carrying a small purse during the summer – when we are out walking or going for shopping in the city.   As the weather gets warmer – I don’t have to stuff jackets and hats/toque into my handbag for my kid – so a small wristlet like this would be awesome.  I’m still awaiting for the arrival of the wristlet – as it takes 6 – 10 days for production.
