Yes! our recent trip to the city – we saw the new Coach store opened – I did go in and check it out – the staff were very friendly and nice. I didn’t see anything I really wanted – but the next time I visit the city again – I will check it out again. I prefer the contemporary design – but at this time of the year – they have lots of fancy colors.
Etienne Aigner was a brand I was so proud of – when I was a young adult and was just starting to become aware of the branded stuff. I remember I had a small little blue purse from Etienne Aigner that I had bought for a few hundred dollars and was darn proud of it. But today – I see that one can get an Etienne Aigner original bag for less than a few hundred dollars. I had asked a girlfriend from home – why they are so cheap now – and she said it wasn’t a popular brand in Asia. Quite shocking and sad but an Etienne Aigner is an Etienne Aigner right – so I scout around the online website to see if I can see anything i like – but alas – no such luck.
I got pictures of my custom made leather bag a few days ago – and can’t wait to see it. You see I liked a certain pattern for a bag – but didn’t wanna pay very much and when i found someone at Etsy who would do it for a reasonable price – i jumped at it. I love real leather and hate carry synthetic ones – there are cheaper ones that I can buy – not real leather of course – but I rather buy a bag that is made with real leather. For $120 + shipping – not a bad deal at all.
Yes! i know it is Prada – but when my girlfriends showed me these handbags – i said – oh no! so not my style!! forgive me – but you won’t catch me with these – even if it was a present or free of charge. Sorry – no no! I love prada ! trust me ! but I can’t be seen with this! but my working girlfriends they each bought one of these for a cocktail party! good luck to them.
To die for – this H bag ! at $4275! yes ! i’ll probably have to starve for a year before I can buy this! hahha!! but who doesn’t love a H – bag right? This is a Hermes Massai Bag – Chevron lining, silver and palladium hardware, double slide zip closure, inside zip pocket. Comes with short strap with 1 adjusting hole, measures 24″ and one long strap with 3 adjusting holes, measures 48″.
As you can see – you can’t really put loads of stuff into this bag – but who does for a Hermes right? it’s just for a cocktail or a gala event after work. Love ! love ! love!
I’m pretty sure you all know how much I support Etsy – the place where everything is made with hand and love. I was actually looking for Christmas presents for friends and family – when I saw a custom made handbag with real genuine cow leather at very reasonable price. But you see – I didn’t want a bag – that looks like that – I prefer something simpler.
A handbag that looks like that but with genuine letter – not some synthetic ones – which I can buy from anywhere. So I contacted the seller and asked if she could do something similar but not exactly like the above handbag – and after going back and forth for a day or two – we finally decided to use the first picture material and the shape of my shoulder bag like the 2nd picture. It takes about 20 days – for the handbag to be ready and since the seller is in Canada – I figured it wouldn’t cost that much to mail it to me – I can’t wait for the finish work. I hate buying mass produced handbags.
Cute or what? saw it at the window of a downtown local store while going to the bank today – and it said it was 20% off too. But this is more like a spring bag – like it said it was but you and I know that we don’t get a lot of spring. So tomorrow – i’m going to check it out and see if it is worth buying. I haven’t bought a Lacoste for so long – and had i not seen it in the window of that local store – i would’ve completely forgotten about this brand altogether. Wish me luck tomorrow !
Branded goods are not cheap and a good friend had shown me what she did for her old branded handbags and shoes back home. It’s amazing that they have a shop that professionally clean your branded goods – from shoes to handbags and even clothes and if a color of your shoes and handbags are getting too old to clean – you can opt to dye it. I used to just throw my old stuff out – now I don’t have to anymore – i’ll just bring them home with me to Asia – the next time I’m home. Pretty awesome right?

Synthetic handbags are aplenty here and they are mighty cheap too. If a pattern i have taken fancyof – i really don’t mind if it is not leather. But i usually prefer leather or LV brands – but i don’t fancy buying non-authentic stuff. Some people just need lots of handbags but i say a few good ones is better than 100 non – authentic ones. But for those who buys imitation ones – don’t get me wrong – i won’t think that they are inferior – afterall, to each his own eh.
