I had gone for a facial a few days ago – and it was great – it was so relaxing – but when i got back – i realized that my nose had black heads still. So i called the esthetician up and asked for another half a session the following day – for I didn’t want to walk around with ugly black heads on my nose. The half a facial as i called it – lasted for 45mins – and it cost $45 + tax and tips of course – but I also found out that it wasn’t really black heads that I had – they were little fine hairs that appeared after I had my full hysterectomy – which the esthetician suspected. She was quite worried about how she should tell me – so as to not offend me i guess – but I already suspected – but thought they had to do with my black heads – so it was fine hair – now we all know. hhaha!
So I decided to go for another reflexology session hoping I can get some kind of good feeling from it and that my health can be improved – I would also like to try out that t-zone vibration machine as well and even though it is some money to be spent – it’s nothing compared to the gaming computers that the spouse was thinking of upgrading for himself this month. So i felt that my reflexology sessions and my t-zone vibration course was reasonably priced and since it was for health reasons – well – it should be done. But alas, the night I went home – I didn’t feel good at all – in fact, I felt a little antsy – which wasn’t the kind of feeling I was hoping for – darn! So the spouse joked that he could buy a better gaming computer? since I won’t be spending money on a course for the reflexology. Oh well – the process was good – in fact it was so comfy I fell asleep – and was totally relax – but the bloated feeling and the weird leg feeling – so heavy – just didn’t do it for me – so for now – I’ll not do the reflexology in Canada and wait to get home to Asia.
Looking beautiful means taking care of your wellness too – staying healthy – eating well – so this summer I’ve decided that I’m going to enjoy the sun as much as I can. Besides going to museum and the art gallery – I also met up with my insurance agent in the golf club for some life insurance quotes for me – the spouse and the kid. One can get carried away – yer know – but committed to being beautiful means taking care of the your wellness too – and what better way to start the summer with making sure that your life insurance is all taken care of for the rest of the year.
Yes! they go hand in hand – so when I saw that my friend’s 60 yrs old mother getting help with Medicare plan and wanting to stay not only healthy but beautiful. I admire her for being so tech savvy and finding out all about this medicare plan that can help people like her – who have health problem get the best benefits so that they can stay both beautiful and healthy even though they are old.
I too hope that I can stay this happy and healthy when I am this old – exercising regularly and taking the best care of my health and of course trying to look as beautiful as I am now. But yes ! if only everyone knows about professional who can help on get the best medical plan and care – that would be wonderful because everyone deserves to be able to afford to stay not only healthy but beautiful as well.
My spouse’s niece came to me the other night and asked me about the best acne remedies – she is a teenager and she hated that she was being teased for her acne on her face and her body. She keeps clean and as hygienic as possible but she is still getting acne – and it is kinda embarrassing for her. She had also started going for expensive facials and it didn’t seems to help at all – so she wants to know my opinion. I re-directed her to some sites that I know and are reputable about acne and told her to stop going for facials because sometimes it aggravates it more than help the acne and acne needs to be treated with special acne cream – or to see a dermatologist which we do not have here in this town. So the next best thing to do is to get the best acne cream that has this money back guaranteed offered online. I feel so bad for her and hope it works for her.
So we had new teflon hose put in the home for our water heater because our water heater was getting old and we want to make sure that the kids don’t burn their skin while using the shower and to keep the shower safe for everyone. So we were all happy that a new hose had been finally put in after 7 years in this house of ours – as recommended by our contractor. Now I don’t have to worry about the water heater anymore at home – and we can take our shower using our hot water heater from now on – I don’t mind using the old hose – but it is getting out of shape and all – it’s definitely safer now. We were also told that teflon hose are the best – so even though it was a little more expensive – I think it was worth paying for.
Summer is round the corner and I had asked the spouse to transfer some of my exercise equipment into the basement for it is too hot to exercise in the tv room. But he also needed to get some audio video cables so that I can play my aerobics dvd in the basement and do some aerobic or step aerobics. I love a man who knows all about cables or moving things around, I used to know someone who don’t even know how to tune his own VCR – what a shame eh. But if you asked me – I wouldn’t know one cable from another – but I’m a woman – so it’s alright. Shopping for accessories and clothing and even household items I’m the best at it – but when it comes to anything electronic – I leave it to the man.
My girlfriend who has arms like the above picture told me she wants power arms like Jennifer Aniston *sigh* – if only she can see my arms ! she wouldn’t be complaining eh but I guess it’s every woman’s wish to look slim but yet not flabby – and a little muscle cannot do any harm right – plus if you would have seen some of Jenny’s picture – she does have some really good look arms! My girlfriend wants to get the best creatine supplement the ones that body builders uses – for building muscle to aid with her “flabby” arms. I don’t know if they work the same way for woman – but she was going to check with her personal trainer and see what he has gotta say about it. I guess I better start working out on my flabby arms too – just in case she comes for the 20 years reunion next year.
So we all know we have to sleep enough – like 7 – 8 hrs a day – drink lots of water – eat healthy – less meat more veggies and exercise to have great looking radiant skin BUT how many of us do that right? I for one – am guilty of not doing a lot of the mentioned here. So what do one do – if you want radiant skin?
My skin therapist told me that when your complexion is not radiant – it’s because of all the toxin that is in our body – so to get a radiant looking skin – one has to treat it from the internal first. Like cleansing your body with a lot of clear water – not coffee, tea or pop. Take multi-vitamins that are water soluble – so that it reaches your skin and not your bloodstream. Lucky for me, I love green tea – it is said to be a great remedy for a radiant skin – so try that out – but of course, moderation in everything else is great.
I also use the crystal collagen mask for my weekly home- treatment – they are cheap and very effective. The ingredients are herbal – so it’s very popular in Asia. Anti- aging effect as well as whitening – love it!
I had gone for a baby shower recently and bought a ergo baby carrier for my girlfriend and her spouse who was having the baby in a month time. The reason why I got them the baby carrier was because I had gone hiking with my neighbors and the husband had carried the baby the whole time while we had gone hiking and he didn’t look uncomfortable or girlish at all. He was at ease with the baby so near to him and it was so sweet – all of us ladies were swooned. So I decided to get one for my girlfriend and encouraged her spouse to use it – and told him the story about how mannn .. my neighbor looked when he was using it. I bought the exact blue color one for them – so he shouldn’t have any excuses about using it – and dark colors are great because you can’t see the dirt on them.
