Now don’t laugh at me – i’ve always known about lip scrub and have just been really lazy that’s all. But I saw this jar of scrub from The Today’s Show – from Sara Happ and wanted to check it out but at $24 a jar – not too bad a price. Alternatively, one can also use one from The Body Shop – called a lip scuff – for $12 – does the same thing – but for another $12 – i would get the Almond Creme for sure. Both does the same thing – A moisturizing lip care product that gently exfoliates the lips to help remove dead skin cells, leaving the lips feeling smooth, soft and conditioned. Ordered and waiting for it to come.
So i finally was able to get in to see my esthetician to take care of my ugly brows and upper lips. Did you know it does make a world of difference when one can get your eyebrow shaped and those ugly little hair around your upper lips taken care of. I said it’s the best $20 one can spend every other month. I don’t know about others but it sure made me feel really clean. So the beautician and I started talking about alli diet pill because i was thinking of doing the infrared sauna to help sweat out some toxins – since i hardly exercise. But that would be for another day and another story. But yes – while my sister is afraid of the pain with waxing – i can tell you that it’s actually painless – doesn’t even feel like an ant bite. So for those who having waxed their upper lips or eyebrows – please, please, please go do it.
Move away and set aside your lipsmackers and use only Lancome’s juicy tube even if you are investing in home gyms you don’t have to worry about these lip gloss breaking your bank. Albeit a bit more expensive than your regular girlish lipsmackers – this juicy tubes are to die for. Ultra shiny and oh so smooth that makes your lips shine! It not only glosses but makes the perfect pout for me but I didn’t feel like it was sticky nor did it taste like plastic – it’s awesome and long-lasting. One donch have to buy them from the Lancome counter but from an online store – would be a lot cheaper.
I’ve tried many lipgloss or lip balms before – not only from the mass produced types.. but even those hand made ones from Etsy. I wanna have faith and give support to those people who are so enterprising and good with their hands – who stay home instead of looking for employment outta their home. As much as I wanna be gung ho about Etsy’s handmade products – I’ll have to say I am going to have to try Kiss My Face Sheer Organic lipbalm instead this time. Not only are their packaging cuter – and they don’t fall out – nor does this one breaks in the middle and you can get to the rest of the lip balm. Kiss My Face Lip Gloss has SPF 15 and that alone wins all the other lip gloss that I had bought before. It’s not waxy and it’s texture is great – I also love the different flavors it comes in and they are not expensive at all. At $3.69 Cdn dollars – you can’t really beat that or compare them with Etsy’s seller. We don’t have any drug stores that carries this brand – I bought mine online.
Why buy lip gloss that is sold commercially by big companies when you can get better stuff .. for cheaper and better. I’m all for original and good ingredients like the ones from Etsy Rachel Rene. They are made with Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, Soywax, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Vitamin E, and Flavor Oil. I ordered some for my girlfriends and buying more .. for myself and my kid. They are currently on a closeout season sale.. so they are awfully cheap.. you wouldn’t believe it. Head over to Etsy and type in Rachel Rene Bath and Body. New friends asked me all the time about the lipstick that i’m wearing. And i swear by my M.A.C lipsticks. They are the only ones .. that doesn’t crack my lips.. and absolutely smooth to put on, plus they do last forever. I had bought a 4gb micro sd the other day while shopping .. when i saw the below. We had gone shopping for some KVM switch for our customer.. but ended up buying myself some expensive lip gloss. I figured since i need one.. i might as well get a better one, afterall, they are for my lips.. and with weather like ours here in Canada, you kinda need to reaally protected yourself.
Unfortunately, the expensive lip gloss didn’t do a fabulous job.. they worked the same .. as my ordinary ones. So i tell myself.. is the more expensive lip gloss worth paying for..?? well in my humble opinion.. i see no harm getting ordinary ones.. in fact .. i now know that my ordinary ones did a better job.
Winter is definitely here.. and for those who are living in the West.. where winter is wicked.. the lip gloss is definitely something one need. You need not buy the most expensive ones.. the normal ones even from the dollar store will work..if you cannot find anything else. But of course, investing in a good lip gloss goes a long way. I love lip gloss from the Body Shop and my minerale lip gloss.. in fact it double up.. as a lipstick for me.. if i don’t feel like dressing up. Yes..!! i cannot live without my lip gloss.. especially during the winter.. it’s wicked on the lips. .. and my skin.
And of course .. moisturizer..!! the more the merrier..! trust me.. this is my suriving kit .. for the winter. I can’t lived without it. And a little go a long way, you wouldn’t believed how quick my skin turned flaky.. it was horrid.. but as soon as i slapped those moisturizer on.. it turned back normal. I kid you not..!
St Ives is by far the cheapest I found.. and most effective..! All these works.. and I bought them on sale for like $9.95. Swiss made.. and not too oily and comes with even extra mild formula for those who has sensitive skin. I love it..!!
