April 18th, 2010Crazy @ Perfumes

For many years after having my kid – i really had no time for anything else except looking after her.  Yes, she was a very demanding baby and toddler – she is still demanding – but at least now when i scream at her -she understands that i’m frustrated.   Anyhow, now that the kid is older and I have more time to go shopping and browse and look at good deals – i’ve been getting a lot of perfumes at really, really good price.  Prices you cannot resist like clinicallix – while others collects handbags or antiques – i collect perfumes.   I tested recently a Dolce & Gabbana perfume and am kinda addicted to it but since i’m pretty el cheapo .. and would pay $60 for a bottle – i’m gonna look out for sale – whenever i pass the counter.  Wish me luck now!

March 20th, 2010YardSale Clinque

I don’t even know when it started but I love going onto the local yardsale online – why ? because you get good buys once in a while.  But don’t buy your  colon cleansing on any yardsale eh! hahah!!!  i got a clinque set today for and unbelieveable price of $10!!!  yes I kid you not.  Pictures will follow to proof to you that I bought the exlir perfume and a body lotion for a steal – you can beat that.  I can’t really remember the smell of the perfume but i knew i liked it.  Today i opened it up and gave it a sniff and yes it was the musky smell that i liked but even if i didn’t i knew i can give it away for a present.  It came with a gift box and all.  Pretty awesome..!!  these days i strive to only get good stuff at cheap prices.. and i tell yer i’m getting to be quite the expert in it.

February 17th, 2010Calvin Klein Truth

I used to buy perfumes at my whim and fancy, especially since I traveled a lot and when i am at an airport – i cannot help myself but to buy perfumes and cosmetics because I am not into liquor or wine or anything alcoholic.  I even managed to get treatments for hair loss at the DFS shops at one of the airport because i was already lossing hair some 10 yrs ago.

Anyhow, these days – i rarely buy perfume without first testing them and waiting for over night before deciding if they are a good buy.  I’ve collected some pretty cool perfume at very cheap prices – like the burberry i bought during Christmas and Calvin Klein’s Eternity.  Today i bought Calvin Klein’s Truth at $19.99 for a 50ml bottle because it was on sale – i don’t need more perfume but i see no harm in buying them when they usually retail for at least $59.99.

Body shop used to have a blue in color perfume stick.. but they are not in sale for a long time.  You can get these organic perfume sticks from Etsy.. and i’m gonna try some myself.  It’s really convenient..and discreet .. especially when you are on the road.. or trying to refresh yourself.. immediately before meeting client or a new friend.  Made of  helianthus annuus, rosemary officialis and citrus dulcis.  At only $7.95 – you can get it from hubblebubbleorganics from Etsy.

October 20th, 2008Harajuku Fragrance

Told yer.. i was gonna check it out.. but i wasn’t really impressed.  Seriously, the perfume didn’t really smell like something i would like a lot… and i feel like i was actually only paying for the pretty bottle.  I mean it fascinates me now.. but i know it is only gonna go on my dresser .. and collect dust.. plus I am not gonna pay $49 for a cute figurine eh.

The perfume is inside the dolls.. so you can imagine how small a bottle they are eh.  Only 15 ml i think… and $49 !!!!  but most importantly like i said.. the smell wasn’t what i had expected .. nor something i went like wow..!!! i have to have it.  I think i am still a very much Eternity and Dune kinda woman.

The packaging is not the prettiest.. but if you’ve been to Tokyo, Japan .. to the Harajuku Station .. you will probably understand the packaging a lot better. True to its name .. Harajuku.. it’s pretty much identify with the mode.. and the spirit and color at the Harajuku station in Japan.
