I had very bad pigmentation on one side of my face before coming to the West – i am wondering if it is the hot sun there that did that to my face – because after so many years here in the West with the different season – my pigmentation isn’t that bad anymore. I was truly disappointed because the sale only goes on to the 7th and i don’t go to the city till next month – and you and I know with cosmetic and skin care – you have to be there to buy it yourself to know that you are getting what you want. Well, I guess I will have no choice but to order from Kose – and here I wanted to try something new. Bummer!
My girlfriend from Malaysia sent an early birthday gift from the Body Shop – boy! was i surprised – not only was it expensive – this 2 things cost her $50 Canadian inclusive of wrapping and shipping. But i still feel it was too ex – too much money spent. She must have great credit score because she was able to order this online – while i wasn’t able to use my credit card to order anything from Tiffany to be sent back to Singapore or Malaysia. I haven’t tried the two presents yet because I wanna wait till I am feeling better – one is a shower cream and the other is a butter body cream – must be really rich. I had one from the spouse’s Aunt a few years ago – and I haven’t used it yet. But they are still good because it hasn’t been opened at all. I can’t wait to try out my birthday gift. I caught a nasty cold last week and boy ! two days into the cold .. my nose and upper lips was so sore i couldn’t even eat properly. I was looking at some uv pond filter with my girlfriends and they recommended Vaseline and lo and behold – I kid you not – after putting them on my nose – instantly i felt relieved. Well, one of the reasons why many women won’t do that is because they think they have fat upper arms – i for one am one of them – but others have problems because of dark underarms – raise your hands if you are one of them – don’t be shy now – once upon a time i was like that too – even with promotional items that were recommended i still failed to bring my underarms into a lighter color – so what can one do – if you are in my shoes. Try the below home remedy.
1 . Lemon has the quality to remove dead cells of the skin and deliver a fresh look to it. Take a lemon slice and rub it gently to the dark underarm area. You can also use alum powder instead of deodorants to prevent your skin from darkening.
2. Milk is a useful ingredient for treating dark skin occurrence at armpits. Take a tablespoon of curd, 1 tablespoon of ground flour, a pinch of turmeric and tablespoon of milk. Mix all of them and apply the paste on dark underarms. Rinse with cold water when it dries.
3. Apply paste of sandalwood and rose water on your underarms. Wash it after 15 minutes with cold water.
4. Apply vitamin E oil on your armpits.
5. Wash the dark underarms with coconut oil.
6. Take juice of cucumber and mix it with turmeric powder. You can also add lime juice to enhance the capability of the mixture to fight against skin darkening underarms. Apply this mixture for half an hour and then, wash it away to get glowing skin underarms.
